Beyond your porch

A Tiny Home or Forest Hut is where you sleep. The rest of the weekend happens between them. Walk to the pool when it is hot. Land in the clubhouse when the weather turns: seating, games, and a floor that works for little ones who need a show and a rug. At night, the fire by your unit is still the one you will remember. Between those hours you have the pool, the clubhouse, and the rest of the grounds.

The pool and hot tub run 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Quiet hours on the property are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, so the water closes when the rest of the resort settles. There is a tanning shelf and a beach-style edge that is easier with small children.

Hilltop Mercantile is the on-site store for a drink, a snack, a forgotten item, or something to take home. Hours can change in winter. If the door is closed, the guest texting thread from check-in still reaches us.

Wifi runs across the property. Guest laundry is first come, first served, which matters after a lake day. The dog park is enclosed for a real run. Leash up everywhere else. Boats belong in overflow parking, not in the lane by someone’s fire pit.

The Forest Pavilion is a wood-plank roof with power, the kind of shade that holds a group meal. Community Huts are three rustic rooms for a gathering among the trees. The washhouse is there for Forest Hut mornings, and for anyone who wants a larger shower setup, with stalls, vanities, towels, and toiletries.
